  • Lavender Oil - Soothes and calms skin and particularly beneficial for sensitive or inflamed skin, including conditions such as eczema or dermatitis.  Has antibacterial and antifungal properties that can help skin infections.  Also has antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties which help with wound healing .  Great at moisturising and rehydrating skin.

Lanolin -Helps prevent moisture loss and helps with rehydration of the skin. These properties help regulate the hydrolipidic film (invisible to the naked eye, it allows the skin to retain water and maintain its hydration, and to give the epidermis its suppleness and softness to the touch) thus helping to restore softness and elasticity, especially to dry and rough skin.

Aloe Vera - Most notably it is used for burns due to its cooling, soothing and moisturising properties. The gel encased in the thick green leaf is used for clear gels and ointments which are applied topically to treat various skin conditions especially burns as it is a very beneficial healer which hastens the healing, stimulating the immune system, thus reducing risk of any infection.

Beeswax - Used to prevent moisture loss by coating the skin thus preventing dehydration. Propolis in the wax is a mild antibiotic that aids healing of minor infections. This beeswax comes from our local Bee man, Glynn from Kirwee Bees - www.kirweebees.co.nz who we rent a hive from.

Lavender Hydrosol & Rose Hydrosol - Both soothing for the skin and promotes hydration.
